Mechatronics Engineer for Testing and Technical Support in the Anti-Theft Sector
Purpose of Position:
Test and improve mechanical and electronic anti-theft devices during engineering, prototyping and final testing. Improving the installation experience, use and reliability of current and future products, also supporting Technical Assistance activities.
Main responsibilities:
- *Testing and Validation
- Conduct in-depth tests on mechanical and electronic anti-theft devices during the engineering, prototyping and final testing phases.
- Analysing test results to identify any defects or areas for improvement.
- *Product Improvement:*
- Collaborate with design teams to improve the reliability, installation and use of burglar alarms.
- Propose innovative solutions to optimise product performance.
- *Technical Support Support:*
- Providing technical support for service activities, solving complex problems related to burglar alarms.
- Prepare technical documentation and guides for the installation and use of products.
- *Team collaboration:*
- Work closely with engineering, production and service teams to ensure an integrated approach to product development and support.
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical and operational feedback.
Requirements
*Training:*
- Technical diploma or degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electronics or related fields.
*Experience:*
- Experience in the automotive sector desired but not essential, preferably with a focus on security and anti-theft systems.
- Practical experience in testing, prototyping and validation of mechanical and electronic systems.
*Technical Skills:*
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical and electronic anti-theft systems.
- Skills in the use of testing and diagnostic tools and software.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical diagrams.
- Familiarity with automotive safety and quality regulations.
*Interpersonal Skills:*
- Excellent problem solving and analysis skills.
- Good communication skills and aptitude for teamwork.
- Orientation to details and precision.
*Linguistic skills:*
- Good knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken.
